For me it was the summer, running through sprinklers and drinking from the hose. When autumn turned to winter, it was there suspended in the place of leaves on the trees. In the spring, it would fall and bring me bluebonnets. It was childhood: freedom, beauty, and discovery.

Just as it has shaped landscapes and coastlines, it ultimately shaped me. Water is the spirit that links human kind.
